Launch - Professional Growth, building our collective knowledge

This workshop explores the visible and invisible elements that contribute to group dynamics. The course will help coaches and leaders identify critical cultural elements within their team and apply evidence-based strategies for building positive spaces for performance and growth.

This workshop offers a comprehensive guide to understanding and managing Associated Student Body (ASB) budgets. Participants will learn the essentials of budgeting, from defining its purpose to navigating approval processes and adhering to compliance standards. The session emphasizes the importance of collaboration between students, advisers, and administrators, while addressing common challenges such as limited involvement, misconceptions, and turnover in key roles. Attendees will explore strategies for creating effective budgets, anticipating needs, and fostering educational value through ASB involvement. Practical tips and tools, including contingency planning and coordination with booster clubs, will ensure participants leave equipped to build and sustain successful financial systems for their schools.

Learn how to create an environment that empowers student voice to share their opinions, ideas, and perspectives to create a more inclusive and collaborate school environment. This involves providing platforms where students feel heard, valued, and respected in decisions, which allows them to step up and thrive individually and collaboratively. What better way to hear of how to empower student voice other than current students sharing their stories and their perspective of how and why they felt empowered to create positive change that will leave a long-lasting impact.
