Hannah's primary work in the UW Center for Leadership in Athletics is focused around academic programs and coaching education. She helps drive the Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership (IAL) M.Ed. programs, teaching multiple courses and assisting with student advising, curriculum development, and internship management. Additional teaching duties include undergraduate coursework in the College of Education focused on youth development through sport. Hannah is also central to continuing education offerings for coaches and administrators, specifically helping to drive the ACCEL Sport Coaching Certificate. Prior to joining the CLA staff, Hannah worked in collegiate, interscholastic, and professional sports. She received her Master's of Education in the IAL program at UW in 2007 and earned her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership & Policy Study in 2014, with research focused on effective coaching at the high school level.
